Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Read this before you do anything else

  • Every commodity here is fictional. There is no gold, no oil, no warehouse, no delivery.
  • Every price, chart and profit figure is generated by software, not real market data.
  • You may lose 100% of anything you commit. Never commit what you cannot afford to lose.
  • Nothing here is financial advice, and no return of any kind is promised or owed to you.
  • The developers and operator accept no liability for any loss you suffer. See section 10.

1Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Parallel website, interface, APIs and any related materials (together, the “Interface”). By accessing the Interface, connecting a wallet, or using any feature of it, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Interface. Your only remedy for dissatisfaction with the Interface is to stop using it.

2What Parallel actually is

Every commodity listed on the Interface is fictional. RHGold, RHOil, RHSilver and every other book on this exchange are invented tokens. They are not gold, oil, silver, gas, copper, aluminium, uranium or any other physical commodity. They are not futures contracts, options, warehouse receipts, exchange-traded products, securities, or claims on any asset, entity or person. Where a book names a venue symbol, that reference describes the model only and implies no relationship with, endorsement by, or position on any third-party exchange.

There is no vault, no warehouse, no barrel, no bullion and no delivery. Nothing on the Interface is redeemable for any physical good, currency or right.

Prices, market caps, supply and other figures shown for a claimed token are read directly from public contracts on Robinhood Chain. They reflect on-chain state at the moment they are read and may be stale, incomplete or unavailable. They do not represent the price of any real commodity, are not investment advice, and must not be relied upon for any purpose. Unclaimed tokens show no data at all.

Parallel (PARALLEL) is a token used within the Interface. It is not a share, a security, an investment contract, a deposit, e-money, or a claim against the operator or any other person.

3No advice and no relationship

Nothing on the Interface constitutes financial, investment, trading, legal, accounting or tax advice, or a recommendation, endorsement, offer or solicitation to buy, sell or hold anything. No content is tailored to your circumstances, objectives or risk tolerance.

Use of the Interface creates no advisory, fiduciary, brokerage, custodial, agency, partnership, employment or trust relationship between you and the operator, the developers, or any contributor. No duty of care is owed to you in respect of any decision you make.

You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for obtaining your own independent advice.

4The house perpetual desk and its conflicts

The Interface describes a simulated “perpetual desk” operated by the house. The house — not you — is modelled as taking every perpetual position. You do not open, control, close, margin or liquidate any position, and you acquire no interest in any position, in any profit and loss, or in any buyback.

Perpetual direction, sizing, leverage, fees, buyback rates, the eligibility threshold, the number of books the desk holds open at once and every other parameter are set by the operator and may be changed, suspended or removed at any time without notice. Only a limited number of books trade in any round, and no book is entitled to a slot. The operator may operate the desk in ways that conflict with the interests of holders, and is under no obligation to act in your interest.

References to a 3% fee, an eligibility floor, a buyback rate or any other figure are descriptions of a software model. They are not a promise, guarantee or contractual commitment, and no buyback, distribution, payment or return of any kind is owed to you.

5Risk disclosure

You can lose everything you commit. Assume that you will.

  • Total loss. Any token you acquire may fall to, and remain at, zero value.
  • No slot guarantee. A book may never be traded by the desk, and can lose its slot at any time.
  • No liquidity. There may be no buyer at any price. You may be unable to exit at all.
  • Extreme volatility. Values shown can move violently in either direction without warning.
  • No value guarantee. No token here is backed, pegged, insured, collateralised or redeemable.
  • Leverage. The modelled desk uses leverage, which magnifies losses as readily as gains.
  • Smart contract and protocol risk. Code may contain bugs, be exploited, or fail entirely.
  • Irreversibility. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, cancelled or refunded.
  • Key loss. If you lose access to your wallet, nobody can recover it for you.
  • Availability. The Interface may be unavailable, incorrect, delayed or discontinued at any time.
  • Regulatory. Rules may change and may render the Interface or your holdings unusable or unlawful.

Past figures, simulated or otherwise, are not indicative of future results. Never commit funds you cannot afford to lose entirely.

6Your wallet and your responsibility

The Interface is non-custodial. It never takes possession, custody or control of your assets, private keys, seed phrase or wallet. Connecting a wallet shares only your public address.

You are solely responsible for the security of your device, wallet, keys and recovery phrase; for every transaction you sign; for verifying every address, amount and network before you act; and for all activity that occurs through your wallet, whether or not authorised by you.

The operator will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys. Anyone who does is attempting to steal from you. Losses arising from phishing, malware, compromised devices, fraudulent websites or your own mistakes are yours alone.

7Eligibility and prohibited use

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and of full legal capacity; that your use of the Interface is lawful in your jurisdiction; that you are not subject to sanctions and are not located in a sanctioned or restricted territory; and that you are not acting on behalf of anyone who is.

You must not use the Interface to:

  • break any applicable law, regulation or sanctions regime;
  • launder money, finance terrorism, or handle proceeds of crime;
  • manipulate, defraud, or mislead any person;
  • attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Interface or its infrastructure;
  • scrape, resell or redistribute the Interface or its content without permission;
  • misrepresent the fictional nature of anything shown here to any other person.

Access may be restricted or terminated at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.

8Third-party services and links

The Interface links to and may interoperate with third-party services, including the launchpad at https://www.ponsfamily.com/launchpad, wallet providers, blockchains, RPC endpoints, hosting and data providers.

These services are not operated or controlled by the operator of this Interface. Their inclusion is not an endorsement. The operator makes no representation about them and accepts no liability whatsoever for their content, availability, security, conduct, fees or any loss arising from your use of them. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party, on their terms.

9Disclaimer of warranties

The interface is provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and without warranty of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator, its developers, contributors, officers, employees, agents, licensors and service providers disclaim all warranties, express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, or arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

No warranty is given that the Interface will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, free of harmful components, or that any figure, price, chart, balance or result shown will be accurate, complete or current. No advice or information obtained through the Interface creates any warranty not expressly stated here.

10Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of this interface, together with its developers, designers, contributors, maintainers, officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors and suppliers (the “protected parties”), shall have no liability to you of any kind arising out of or in connection with the interface, its content, or your use of it.

Without limiting the generality of the above, the protected parties shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, opportunity, tokens, cryptocurrency or other assets, nor for any trading loss, market loss, impermanent loss, liquidation, failed, delayed, reverted or front-run transaction, gas cost, network fee, price movement, protocol failure, exploit, hack, phishing attack, smart-contract defect, oracle or data error, downtime, bug, interruption, or act or omission of any third party — whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute or any other theory, and whether or not the protected parties were advised of the possibility of such loss.

You accept that you use the Interface entirely at your own risk and that you bear sole responsibility for every decision you make and every loss you incur. In particular, and without limitation, the developers of this Interface accept no liability for any loss of funds, however caused.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, the total aggregate liability of the protected parties for all claims arising out of or relating to the Interface is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid directly to the operator for access to the Interface in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) one hundred United States dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain liabilities. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions and limitations above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the protected parties from and against any claim, demand, action, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Interface, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, or any misrepresentation you make about the Interface or anything listed on it.

12Taxes and compliance

You are solely responsible for determining, reporting and paying any tax that applies to your activity, and for complying with every law that applies to you. The operator does not provide tax reporting, does not withhold tax, and gives no assurance as to the tax treatment of anything shown on the Interface.

13Intellectual property

The Interface, its design, artwork, silhouettes, copy, code and branding are owned by the operator or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Commodity names and tickers used here are fictional and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any real exchange, index, producer or trademark holder. Any resemblance to a real product or organisation is coincidental and parodic. Fonts and other third-party assets remain subject to their own licences.

14Changes, suspension and termination

These Terms may be amended at any time by posting a revised version. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use is acceptance of them. The Interface, any book, any parameter and any feature may be modified, suspended, restricted or discontinued at any time, in whole or in part, without notice and without liability to you.

15General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remainder shall continue in full force. A failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and the operator concerning the Interface and supersede any prior understanding.

You may not assign these Terms without consent; the operator may assign them freely. Any dispute shall, to the extent permitted by law, be resolved on an individual basis — you and the operator each waive any right to participate in a class, collective or representative action.

By continuing to use this Interface you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full, that you understand every commodity listed is fictional and every figure is simulated, and that you accept sole responsibility for any loss you incur.
